Cremation Urns of Vermont was founded in 1991 by a Vermont licensed
Funeral Director who noticed the poor quality, mostly imported, over
priced product then available.  There was a need for high quality
distinctively styled cremation urns, which would be built in the United
States, sold at  reasonable prices, and delivered in a timely manner.  The
result was "Cremation Urns Of Vermont".  Here we manufacture a large
selection of quality stone and hardwood urns, built in Vermont, where
the old fashioned work ethic still exists.  From our humble beginning we
have evolved into the largest cremation urn manufacturer in the state of
Vermont.

Our marble and granite urns are made by a forth generation skilled
stone worker (see Craig above), from the highest quality stone
available.  We use, whenever possible, Vermont quarried stone such as
Verde' Antique and Danby White Marbles, and "Rock of Ages" Barre
Gray Granite.  We also use selected imported granite such as Absolute
Black and Blue Pearl.  Variations in color, and veining are visible proof
that the urns are made of genuine quarried stone which is over 300
million years old. In no way is the strength, quality, or beauty of the
stone affected by these natural markings, rather since no two stones
are identical, each urn is as unique as a fingerprint.

The etched and painted stone urns are hand etched and hand painted
by a talented Vermont artist (see Jackie above). Custom designs are
available.

All our wooden urns are built by an old time wood professional (see
Bob above) who does the finest work we have seen.  Our standard
offerings are cherry, oak, maple, pine and mahogany and we are
presently trying to purchase Birds Eye Maple, though it is extremely
scarce.  Most of our wood urns feature our exclusive flocking process
on the interior so that cremated remains never come into contact with
unfinished wood.

Our stained glass front panels are made by a talented artist (see Suzy
above), who assembles each piece one at a time.  The front panel is
then sent to our wood mill where Bob builds it into an integral part of
the urn.

Names and dates can be etched on any urn for a nominal charge of
$35.00.

All urns are approximately 210 cubic inches in volume and are shipped
in a velvet presentation bag, via UPS ground at no extra charge.

If the urn you choose bears the name "Cremation Urns Of Vermont", it
carries our commitment to quality.  From the initial design to the
meticulous attention to detail during our hand finishing process, our
goal is to provide you with the best product possible at a reasonable
price, because here at Cremation Urns Of Vermont our reputation is
worth more than gold.
It is said that a person who works with his hands is
